Why I Write the Stories
My love of Magick began with Egyptology and Cleopatra. Even as a child, I was drawn to ancient symbols, buried secrets, and the powerful women at the heart of both. Studying ancient Egypt introduced me to Isis— Iset wer-Heka, Isis Great of Magick —the world’s greatest magician and perhaps civilization's first witch.
Once I found Isis, I began looking for stories about other women who reshape the world around them . . . powerful women who love powerfully. And the men who are brave enough to meet them in that strength. Magick is just the beginning. These are partnerships forged in fire and myth.
You know the ending to Pretty Woman. He climbs the fire escape. She meets him halfway.
That’s what I write: Lovers rescuing each other. Lovers who rise. Together.
