Major Arcana: Portraits of Witches in America, an exhibition of photographs open at the Southeast Museum of Photography through Saturday, April 17, Denny explores who identifies as a witch in the modern era, and why. (The exhibition culls from a book of the same name, which was published in 2020.) Witches in modern day America, it turns out, are as diverse a group of women as the body politic.
